Project Overview

I am the Co-Founder of Revol Health, where we are dedicated to revolutionizing health equity. Serving as both CTO and CDO, I bridge engineering and design to forge a design-centric product. In 2023, we gained significant traction across diverse sectors as we navigated various design phases.

Problem Statement

How might we support menstruating individuals at work with their menstrual related challenges such as stigma at work, pain…?

Research

We engaged with 50+ women through in-depth discussions and extended studies. Their feedback and experiences became the foundation of our project, shedding light on unique needs and offering valuable perspectives for our next steps.

Ideation

We built on insights from our research. Using wireframes, user journeys, and the personas we had crafted, we conducted workshops. This collaborative approach helped us brainstorm and shape solutions that truly aligned with our users' needs.

Prototyping and Handover

We prototyped our solutions in Figma and then presented these designs to menstruating individuals for testing and feedback. Their insights were invaluable, refining our approach. Post feedback, we moved to implement the designs using Flutter and Firebase, transitioning from concept to functionality.

Learnings

Reflecting on our journey, I've come to see that while UX is deeply intertwined with product interactions, the broader canvas of CX is essential in our initial days. In entrepreneurship, ensuring a consistent and positive overall customer journey can often hold more weight than perfecting just the user interface. The brand's perception and enduring loyalty stem more from this holistic experience.
